Traffic Management Plan
The Red Deer Regional Airshow requests all spectators follow the designated travel routes when travelling to the event:
Arriving from the North (Edmonton):
- Travelling southbound on HWY 2 towards Red Deer
- Take Exit 397 and turn RIGHT onto Township Road 381/ 32 Street
- Continue on Township Road 381 which turns into the C&E Trail
- Turn LEFT onto Township Road 374
*Follow Airshow signage and Traffic Control personnel to the designated public parking
Arriving from the South (Calgary):
- Traveling northbound on HWY 2 towards Red Deer
- Take Exit 384 towards towards Pine Lake
- Then merge onto HWY 42 WEST
- At the roundabout, take the second exit onto HWY 2A
- At the next roundabout, exit onto Airport Drive into Springbrook
*Follow Airshow signage and Traffic Control personnel to the designated public parking
Public parking lots open at 8:00 AM each event day.
Admission gates are open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, follow all posted signage, and obey the directions of Traffic Control Personnel to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
